Sierra Pacific Windows is a proud subsidiary of Sierra Pacific Industries, a company that manages over 2.4 million acres of timberland in California and Washington in a sustainable manner. We are amongst the largest producers of millwork and lumber in the United States, which means we have complete control over our manufacturing process.

USE EVERYTHING
The fiber remaining from one operation becomes the raw material for another. Shavings become animal bedding; bark becomes landscape material or boiler fuel for dry kilns and electricity generation.
CREATE ENERGY
Using bark and other remaining fiber as boiler fuel, our seven cogeneration facilities produce more than enough power to operate our mills. The balance is sold to CA utility companies to help local communities and reduce our nation’s dependence on fossil fuels.

Our insulated glass is equipped with No-Metal TrueWarm® Edge polymer structural foam spacers, which are more efficient than traditional metal spacers, leading to better energy efficiency and fewer seal failures. To achieve our goals, we work closely with Professional Foresters and Wildlife Biologists who specialize in protecting wildlife habitats, watercourses, and plant life. By managing our lands based on “sustained yield” practices, we are able to maintain a healthy balance between harvesting and reforestation. We are proud to say that Sierra Pacific Industries plants seven million new trees every year, contributing significantly to the health of our forests.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our long-term plan to nearly triple the amount of wood growing on our lands in the next 100 years. By implementing innovative forestry practices and modern technologies, we aim to make the most of every acre of our forested land. We anticipate that average tree diameters will nearly double in that time, resulting in a more vibrant, diverse and sustainable ecosystem.

SIERRA PACIFIC FOUNDATION
Sierra Pacific Foundation, which was founded in 1979 by R.H. Emmerson, is an organization that has been committed to providing assistance to the communities in which Sierra Pacific Industries operates. The Foundation is currently led by Carolyn Dietz, who serves as its president.
Over the years, the Foundation has remained true to its mission of empowering the future generation by offering higher education scholarships to the children of Sierra Pacific Industries’ employees. The Foundation has so far provided nearly nine million dollars in scholarships, allowing deserving students to pursue their academic dreams and achieve their career aspirations.
Besides supporting higher education, the Foundation also actively sponsors youth activities and other organizations within the communities in which Sierra Pacific Industries operates. By doing so, the Foundation helps to improve the quality of life in these communities, making them better places to live, work, and raise a family.
In 2015, the Sierra Pacific Foundation demonstrated its commitment to helping victims of domestic violence by donating $1 million to One SAFE Place. The generous donation supported the nonprofit organization’s efforts to build a new shelter for victims of domestic violence, providing them with a safe haven where they can receive the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives.
