Our Work

Common Questions

How much do new doors cost?

Doors are priced per opening, so the number depends on the system - entry, sliding, folding, or pivot - plus size, material, glass, and finish. Most door projects start in the low five figures.

After we measure, you get one flat, itemized quote broken out by door - no guesswork, and no surprise costs once the work begins.

How long does installation take?

Most door installations take one to three days. A single entry or patio slider can often be done in a day; large multi-panel folding or pivot systems on bigger homes may run longer.

You'll have a confirmed schedule before we start, and every opening is secured before we leave each day - your home is never left open overnight.

Can you match the existing style of my home?

Almost always. We carry aluminum, steel, bronze, and wood doors in dozens of profiles - modern minimal frames, traditional panels, and custom architectural finishes.

Show us a photo of your current doors. We'll match the look closely, or recommend a higher-performing system that upgrades security, comfort, and weather performance without altering the home's character.

Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?

Yes - every time. New doors require a building permit in both Florida and Illinois, and most communities require a separate HOA or architectural review for exterior changes.

We pull the permits, file the HOA documentation for you, and coordinate every inspection - including any product approvals your area requires, such as Miami-Dade in Florida. That's our job, not yours.

What's the warranty?

Your doors are backed by the manufacturer - generally five to ten years on frames and hardware, with extended or lifetime glass coverage on most of the brands we carry.

Our installation carries its own workmanship warranty. If a problem ever traces back to how the door was fitted, we return and make it right - you deal with SAVOCCHI directly.
